Northern Lights Update

QGI Northern Lights group held a `Sewing Saturday` on January 18, 2014 when members brought their own projects to sew. No snow this year so we had 16 members sewing. It was a good day with plenty of chat, help to layer quilts, consult on colours, sort out problems etc. Another Sewing Saturday is planned for April: if you are a QGI member and in the area feel free to come and join us - see Northern Lights` programme on the website for dates and contact info, and email/phone Jane to check last minute details.

Special Offer Tickets for Under My Bed

If you want a chance to see our work in person, there is an offer on for tickets for Under My Bed. The organisers have contacted us to say:
"As the show is a charity event, we are not in a position to offer any complementary tickets - not even to ourselves! - but we do have a special offer rate that we wanted to make sure your members were made aware of. It represents about a 20% discount and it's really all we can do to thank them so much for all the wonderful work you all did. The tickets are €30 but €23 with the offer."

Contact me via theqgi@gmail.com for details of the promo code.

The show is on at Smock Alley Theatre, Dublin, 16th - 18th January 2014 @ 7:30pm
